SCOR’s number one asset is its employees. Development and growth are two of our key words. Through a culture based on individual and collective performance, SCOR promotes expertise and excellence, with a particular focus on individual career management. We aim to maximise the potential of each employee through effective leadership based on the concepts of fairness, integrity and mutual respect.Career opportunities around the globeThe reinsurance industry offers a multitude of opportunities for candidates with a wide range of profiles and educational backgrounds throughout the world. Every year SCOR welcomes students for internships, and an international business volunteer scheme known as "Volontariat International en Entreprise" or V.I.E. In this way SCOR is working to strengthen ties between the Group and the colleges and universities close to the heart of our business.

Key requirements for employment with us include a university or "grande école" degree as well as an excellent level of English. Additional languages are a plus.

Individual careers managementProfessional mobility plays an important role in our business. We sustain professional development by internally advertising and filling open positions across countries and business units. As a global reinsurer, SCOR also offers opportunities for international relocation. The development of expertise and professionalism is our best guarantee of success.

SCOR attaches great importance to developing the skills of its employees. In this way, the company ensures a high level of knowledge and the application of best practices, whilst preparing its teams for future challenges. SCOR also ensures that its employees update their knowledge in line with the rapid evolution of our activity and business environment.

Our remuneration policy / RemunerationPay that varies in accordance with individual performance is a key element of our remuneration policy. SCOR employees are involved in the Group’s performance through the Collective Incentive Plan, Profit Sharing and the Company Savings Scheme.

SCOR’s Partnership scheme combines individual and collective bonuses with the attribution of free shares and stock options. This scheme links employees even more closely to the company’s performance, and helps to cultivate the concept of “ownership”. This global and individual approach, combining direct and deferred remuneration, means that SCOR can encourage and reward effort, creativity and performance. The remuneration policy is an integral part of SCOR’s individual careers management policy.

SCOR’s number 1 asset is our employees.
