_New Focus : "Enterprise Risk Management (ERM):
_A driving force for the insurance industry"

Given the increasing complexity and interdependency of risks, the concept of Enterprise Risk Management has become a core issue for the insurance industry.

This risk-oriented approach is essential for the management of identified risks and the anticipation of new exposures, so in June 2009 we brought together senior managers and senior risk management professionals at a client seminar we organized in Paris to share and discuss different points of view and visions in terms of what ERM is and should be.

With regard to SCOR Group sustainable development policy, we have chosen to favour the electronic version for this new publication.

_New SCOR Global Life Focus: « Risk and Rheumatology »

This publication results of the research works run by the International R&D Centre on Assessment and Claims, as well as the medical conferences organized by SCOR.

It is also a good opportunity for this key department, to share with SCOR's clients its experience of the main rheumatological pathologies that are encountered in the daily assessment and rating tasks, as well as its reflections about the related medical progress and their impact on the life insurer profession.
