For our Paris headquarters, we are seeking an experienced & ambitious Global EPM solutions manager, who is attracted by new technologies and knows how to bring them to life in an ever-evolving Finance & IT environment.
You will join SCOR’s dynamic Group Finance department: We are proud of using cutting-edge new technologies in financial applications such as SAP HANA and Robotic process automation.  You will participate in several challenging projects of our broad Finance project portfolio. As one of SCOR’s major projects for the 5 coming years, you will strongly contribute to the implementation of a Group Finance Reporting Factory, working closely with IFRS and Solvency II teams.
As Global EPM solutions manager, you will supervise a team of 2 collaborators and on average twice that number of external staff. Your role will be to ensure the smooth and swift integration of the EPM solution (BFC, FIM and DM) in the Group Finance Reporting Factory. You will be responsible for defining the vision & IT strategy of the department, identifying innovations and anticipating market & technology developments. On a more operational basis this position also means delivering new implementations, roll outs and upgrades with your team. You will also be in charge of the continuous improvement of business processes, application maintenance, application life cycle management and their full integration with other Finance applications.
We are on-boarding various functional and technical profiles to establish a Group Finance SAP Center of Excellence, in order to continuously deliver on our dynamic projects.

Key duties and responsibilities

Day to day Administration

- Objectives

·        Define vision and enhance current organization, solution and processes

·        Develop the team’s skills and spirit

·        Leverage on state-of-the-art technologies implemented (HANA, Blue Prism, Service Now)

- Activities

·        Manage the team in charge of the functional support, organize and monitor their work, ensure responsiveness and throughput time, quality of delivery and user satisfaction

·        Oversee functional maintenance (quarterly closing, business issues, data loads with source systems and data warehouses)

·        Identify areas of continuous improvements and define adequate solutions

·        Build strong sustainable business relationships at various level of the organization, strengthen relations between EPM users & SAP CC

·        Efficiently report status to management and stakeholders, lead bi-weekly and weekly meetings


Project Management

- Objectives

·        Lead several strategic projects and team of consultants

·        Develop advanced solution for Consolidation, Solvency 2 and Group external & internal disclosures

·        Participate in the development of Group Finance’s IT strategic roadmap

·        Be connected within your field and develop a strong network (SAP events, technology early-watch, insurance / reinsurance competitors, etc.…)

- Activities

·        Define / participate in the definition of the project charter, project plan, resource plan and related project management artifacts

  • Understand business requirements and translate into detailed technical design. Actively optimize solution design to improve total cost of ownership
  • Provide technical leadership in the development stage of the projects, ensure functional and technical integrity of the solution being delivered
  • Publish periodic status reports and represent projects in various project governance organizations
  • Applying in-depth understanding of various IT technologies continuously optimizes IT solutions and services for greater efficiency and business value delivery

Develop and align EPM roadmap with business priorities and other dependent roadmaps from projects and tracks across IT

Required experience and Education


·        5 years’ experience in implementation / maintenance of SAP EPM solutions (BFC, FIM, DM) with a focus on BFC, and in the context of a global SAP architecture including ECC and BW installations – preferably also experience with HANA

·        5 years of experience in team management

·        5 years in Finance and IT project management experience in the Finance industry (preferably insurance / reinsurance)

·        Ability to structure and reduce complex factual content to the essentials

·        Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods

·        Full working proficiency in English a must, German a plus
