Contributing to SGL China team with focus on valuation work under C-ROSS and PRC-GAAP and experience study to ensure that the whole SGL China meets our strategic target to be:

An efficient, customer-focused, innovative and highly technical life & health reinsurer to enhance SCOR’s ability to write profitable new business in China.

Key duties and responsibilities

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Play as the key role in PRC-GAAP valuation including model enhancement and quarterly reporting with the guidance from valuation manager.
  • Strongly support valuation manager on the C-ROSS valuation including model enhancement, quarterly reporting and documentations preparation.
  • Support the quarterly KRI calculation and C-ROSS Pillar II review with the guidance from valuation manager.
  • Support the experience analysis to set up the best estimation of loss ratio, lapse and expense according to PRC-GAAP and C-ROSS requirement.
  • Base on the Statement of Account (SOA) to track and estimate the premium, commission and loss ratio.
  • Other Ad-hoc assignments and projects

Required experience and Education

Required experience & competencies


  • 2 - 5 years of relevant working experience in life & health insurance/reinsurance fields in China.
  • Valuation experiences in the direct insurance company preferred
  • Familiar with WINDOWS 7 & SQL Server
  • Stable and long term commitment to the job

Required Education

  • University education in actuarial, insurance or finance
