Joy Chavis

Vice President, Global Human Resources Business Partner, Finance

Joy joined SCOR in 2017, bringing with her more than 16 years of Human Resources experience. She currently provides comprehensive Human Resources leadership to Global Finance.

Joy translates strategic and tactical business plans into HR strategies and then partners with Finance senior leadership to develop strategies that impact the attraction, motivation, development, and retention of talent.  

Before joining SCOR she served as HR Director for Lowe’s Companies, the second largest home improvement retailer in the US. Before Lowe’s, Joy was at Wachovia Corporation (now Wells Fargo) in both the human resources and branch services divisions.   

Joy graduated from Western Carolina University, earning both her Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Business Administration.
