SCOR’s Channel Syndicate wins two prizes at the 2017 Insurance Day London Market Awards
On 23 November 2017, the Channel Syndicate, SCOR’s Lloyd’s Syndicate, was distinguished twice at the 2017 Insurance Day London Market Awards, during a ceremony at the Hilton London Bankside. The Political and Credit Risk team was named “Underwriting Team of the Year”. Its Senior Underwriter Henry Mumme-Young was named “Rising Star of the Year”.
With these awards to the Channel Syndicate, Insurance Day recognizes a team that has “achieved the remarkably difficult task of achieving growth in profitability while at the same time delivering quality of service and improved results for customers”, and an individual with “an appetite for innovation to address the developing needs of the 21st century market place”.
Demonstrating its commitment to diversity in the industry, SCOR also sponsored an award at the event, the SCOR Diversity and Talent Management Initiative of the Year, which was won by Aon.
