Colleen transitioned to her current role in 2023 where she is working with the Sales team to leverage customer relationships and execute account and business acquisition strategies. She is responsible for directing all of the company’s US individual life pricing functions as they pertain to specific transactions being priced.  

Previously, Colleen was responsible for leading the experience analysis team, which analyses mortality and lapses to support the management of inforce and new business. A key goal was to increase the rigor and robustness of SCOR’s mortality data management, which allowed the team to develop SCOR’s view of mortality and lapses and provide support and insights for product development, inforce management, and best estimate assumption setting. Areas of focus included older age mortality, post level term, mortality improvement, cause of death research, and impacts from COVID-19.

Colleen joined SCOR in 2017 as Vice President, Experience Analysis – R&D. Prior to that, she had previously gained 15 years of actuarial and insurance industry experience at consulting firms as well as a direct insurer. Her prior experience has included roles in providing advisory and audit services to life insurance clients in addition to roles focused on model development and financial reporting.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science and finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries and Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
