

Helen Croft joins SCOR as Head of Underwriting for UK and Ireland

SCOR is very pleased to announce the appointment of Helen Croft in the newly formed position as Head of Underwriting for the UK and Ireland.
Helen is already very well known to many within the underwriting and claims communities, particularly with her strong presence at industry events and her involvement as a member of the LUCID committee.
Helen’s main responsibilities will be managing the SCOR Underwriting Team to provide the very best underwriting service to SCOR's customers, developing a strong market profile, and supporting the Innovation and Marketing teams. Therefore, SCOR customers are going to see a lot of Helen!
Helen joins us from AIG, having spent 14 years there in various underwriting roles and most recently as Chief Underwriter, after beginning her career in underwriting at Aegon. Helen has a wealth of experience relating to underwriting philosophies and strategies and has been at the centre of many underwriting developments at AIG. Therefore, she is going to be a tremendous addition to the SCOR team.
Reporting to Gavin Maguire, Head of SCOR Life & Health for UK and Ireland, Helen will work closely with Phil Cleverley, Chief Underwriter.
