We were saddened to learn of the death of François Négrier, who passed away on Friday, May 1, 2020, at the age of 91. François Négrier was Chief Executive Officer of SCOR from 1974 to 1993. He took over as head of the Group four years after its creation in 1970. Through his in-depth knowledge of reinsurance and reinsurance techniques, he actively contributed to SCOR’s development. A leading figure in the profession, he was also Chairman of the La Parisienne Assurances group from 2000 to 2010
We share the grief of his family and loved ones and extend our condolences to them.
