Eric Sandrin is appointed Group General Counsel with effect from 14 March 2011, reporting to SCOR’s Chief Operating Officer.

Eric Sandrin is appointed Group General Counsel with effect from 14 March 2011, reporting to SCOR’s Chief Operating Officer. 
 
Eric Sandrin, 46, a French citizen, is a graduate of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris, the Law faculty of the University of Paris and Cornell Law School. He is an attorney admitted to practice in Paris and New York.
He started his career in 1990 as a litigation associate concentrating on bankruptcy and commercial litigation with the law firm Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, initially in France and subsequently in the USA. He then spent 11 years with the General Electric Company, where he held various positions in France and Italy in two of the group’s divisions (GE Healthcare and GE Oil & Gas), focusing on international commercial transactions and government relations.
From 2008, he was group general counsel of Atos Origin, a global IT services corporation listed on the Paris stock exchange.
