Ed began his underwriting career at Allmerica Financial in Worcester, MA, in the early 1990s. He joined Transamerica Reinsurance in 1999, which was acquired by SCOR in 2011. During his 25 tenure with SCOR, Ed had gained vast knowledge and experience ranging from managing the Large Case Team to meeting with client’s underwriting leadership as a trusted underwriting advisor in reinsurance partnerships.

Ed consults on claims investigations, treaty language revisions, guideline and underwriting manual changes as well as high net worth foreign resident risks.  Using his expert underwriting skills, he currently leads the Underwriting Audit function for SCOR US.

He is a leader in the underwriting industry, having been published in On the Risk magazine, spoken at the AHOU conference, held the position of President for the SEHOUA organization, and has served on the TCAHOU program committee since 2017.

A New England native and ardent Boston sports fan, Ed earned a bachelor's degree at Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island, USA.
